What To Bring

All of our properties are fully self-contained.

Bring a torch with you – this makes it easier to find the property if it’s dark and to access some properties you will need to open and close gates.

All of our holiday properties provide all linen such as blankets, doonas, pillows, sheets, pillow cases, towels, bath mats and tea-towels.

Some properties have their own laundry. If this is the case, detergents, washing powders, etc. are not always provided.

Toiletries – Most properties provide bath and hand soap but you should bring your own shampoo, conditioner and any other personal items you might require. Toilet paper is provided, however for longer stays you may need to replenish this supply.

Kitchens are fully equipped with basic cooking items cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. Most properties have some basics such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea and coffe etc but if there is anything that you particularly require we do suggest to bring yourself.

Anything else you may need can be purchased in Kangaroo Valley Village at either the General Store in the village or the small Friendly Grocer supermarket located at the petrol station. Kangaroo Valley also has a Bakery (The Valley Bakehouse), but there is no butcher. A selection of meat is available at the Friendly Grocer and the General Store. The nearest large supermarkets are located in Nowra, Moss Vale or Bowral.

Please note the following:-

  • Most properties are on tank / stream water – please use water thoughtfully.
  • Many properties use a septic system / enviro-cycle to dispose of effluent, please make your guests aware that these systems do not handle sanitary items / nappy disposal etc.
  • You are in a rural setting – please close all gates behind you and please be aware of livestock and our native animals.
